I'm Featured on "The New Media Artist"

Actor Tony Edwards felt I'd make a great guest on the premiere episode of his vidcast "The New Media Artist". In fact, Tony will be a contributor to the Brave New Media blog here so be on the look out for his post and vlogs.

I'm unclear if I qualify for a new media artist. However since 2005 I've been documenting artists and musicians -- and most recently writers -- using new media tools so Tony thought that being an early adopter, I'd have something to say.

FWIW, it wasn't until last week that I launched my own digital media art project, a vlog entitled "Free Advice". It features free advice from free thinkers and it's set to expire after 100 free episodes.

I'd absolutely LOVE it if you'd participate in the Free Advice Project. Leave a video comment, leave a text comment, tell your friends. You know what to do! I need to combine the power of social media with new media to scale my audience and perhaps maybe someday actually make a decent living. I'm told that all I need to achieve this is 100 true fans:



The above video is one of the first I ever made after getting my Flip Video camera back in March. I so loving it. But I'm hating iMovie. If anybody cares to share with me how to use Final Cut Pro, I'd be so grateful!
